"I sincerely believe...that banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies; and that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity, under the name of funding, is but swindling futurity on a large scale" - Thomas Jefferson.
My computer was out of service for a week but now that I'm back up and running I'll be able to create a few more banners and posters for all of our supporters banking with the other big banks! Thank you all for your interest and support of this cause (and the great Thomas Jefferson quote)!
For far too long we Americans have been too complacent in allowing the banking and credit card industries to walk all over us. We have handed over our power to these corporations assuming they knew how best to handle our money. Instead, they have developed systems to use our money against us and turned the relationship around, making us feel powerless while they capitalize on our hard work. Well, that's about to end. The time has come that we reclaim our power - restore the balance of our relationship with the banks to its proper state. It is time we remind the banks where the power lies and where the seed money for all of their loans and investments comes from: us.
I'm just an average Joe with an average job and a below-average income who has finally taken enough abuse from the banking and credit card industries and is ready to put together a coalition of angry, torch-and-club-wielding Americans to strike back and do what it takes to restore the proper balance between the financial industries and the public. Together we can do it!
If you are tired of Bank of America's treatment of you as a customer - the abusive fees, their con games designed to generate those fees, the abuse from the customer service division, unwarranted credit card interest rate hikes, the redistribution of your income to generate enormous wealth for a select few bank executives, and the overall lack of gratitude shown you for depositing your money into their vaults, then NOW is the time to show Bank of America (and the other big banks) who's REALLY in charge. They ain't got nothin' if they ain't got our money.
